Application range
Indoors and outdoors, for terraces, facades and furniture. For robinia and other weather-resistant types of wood.
Technical qualities
After the third application water-repellent, UV-resistant surface. Complies with German Industrial Norm (DIN) 53 160, fast to perspiration and saliva. Free of organic-chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71, part 9.
Application method
The wood should be dry. On terraces and furniture 2 coats, on facades 3 coats, whereby the first coat should always be applied generously, i.e. there should be enough oil to fill the wood pores for 15 minutes. The oil that has not been absorbed should then be spread or removed. The 2nd or 3rd coat should be applied sparingly and allowed to dry without reworking. The temperature should be at least 12° C and the humidity should be low. Our recommendation: Apply between 10 am and 3 pm. Always test ALIS on an inconspicuous area to detect any incompatibility with previously used products. For example, the oil may roll off or bubbles may form. Then sand down to the wood.

Coverage
Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application.
1 liter (1.06 quart) is sufficient for 15-30 m² (161 –323 ft²) i.e. 44 ml/m².
Consumption could be considerably less, depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.
