Application range
For the treatment of hardwood flutes – interior and exterior.
Technical qualities
Impregnating, permanently elastic, slightly intensifying the natural wood color. Fast to perspiration and saliva, according to the German Industrial Norm DIN 53 160.
Application method
Stir thoroughly before use. Remove possible skin formed on surface. Test application! Depending on the absorbency and requirements 1 – 2 applications.
Soak the inner tube with flute oil. Remove excess oil with suitable material after 20 minutes.
Brush the outer tube with flute oil and remove excess oil after 15 minutes e.g. with a lint-free cotton cloth.
For a higher resistance and layer formation, the surface can be treated with KUNOS Maintenance No. 1878 or KUNOS Furniture Oil No. 245 afterwards.
Coverage
Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application, depending on the type of wood and grinding.
