Range of application
For interior use, for a transparent varnishing of all timber floors and furniture. Not to be used on cork.
Technical qualities
Glossy, transparent, slightly honey-toned. According to DIN 53 160 saliva and sweat resistant. According to DIN EN 71, part 3 suitable for toys. Free of organic-chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71, part 9. Results in a dirt-repellent, abrasion- and scratch-resistant paint film, with a limited resistance to water and chemicals.
Application method
Apply sparingly using a brush or roller, or by spraying (5-10 % SVALOS Thinner No. 222 or No. 293) at temperatures above 12°C (53.6°F). Ensure good light and ventilation during drying.
Coverage
Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application. First coat: 1 undiluted litre is sufficient for approximately 15-19 m² (161-204 ft²) i.e. 59ml/m². Second coat: 1 undiluted litre is sufficient for approximately 15-28 m² (161-301 ft²), i.e. 47 ml/m². The total dried thickness of the coating may not exceed 50 µm. Consumption could be considerably less, depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.
