Product information "LINUS Natural Varnish N° 232"

Application range

For interior usage on planed wood. Suitable for areas exposed to water splashes. Also for untreated wooden bathtubs.

Technical qualities

Open pored, permanently elastic, intensifies slightly the natural wood color. Color fastness when exposed to perspiration and saliva according to DIN 53160. Suitable for toys according to DIN EN 71, part 3. Free of organic-chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71 part 9.

Application method

Depending on the requirements (stress) 2-3 sparing applications by painting, spraying undiluted, or dipping (10 – 20 % diluted) to a slight layer formation at temperatures above 12°C (53,6°F). Remove excess oil after 30 minutes after each application. With higher temperatures, please consider shorter drying times and polish more quickly.

Coverage

Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application. 1 liter (1.06 quart) undiluted is sufficient for 12-18 m² (129-194 ft²), i.e. 67 ml/m² per coat. Consumption could be considerably less depending upon the condition and absorbency of the surface.
