Application range
For interior, low-impact wooden surfaces, e.g. as a protection against dust for wooden ceilings. As a pre-treatment before finishing surfaces with LIVOS stains, waxes, and paints. Not to be used on cabinet interiors, floors, countertops, or furniture. As a primer for exterior tropical wood.
Technical qualities
Deep penetration. Reinforces the natural color of the wood grain. Complies with the German Industrial Norm DIN EN 71, part 3, as suitable for toys.
Application method
By painting, dipping or spraying (nozzle size: 0.7 – 1.0 mm; spray pressure: 3 bar). After approximately 20 minutes remove excess oil. At higher temperatures, please consider shorter drying times and remove the excess oil sooner. Provide good ventilation after application.
Coverage
Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application.
1 liter (1.06 quart) undiluted is sufficient for approximately 15 m² (161 ft²) per coat, i.e. 67 ml/m².
For spraying dilute with max. 5-10% of SVALOS Thinner No. 292.
For dipping dilute with max. 10-20% of SVALOS Thinner No. 292.
Consumption could be considerably less depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.
