Range of application
Formasking interior surfaces treated with chemicals such as PCB, PCP, lindaneorDDT. For treatedwood, wooden composites,and concrete. NOT suitable for absorbent plasters (e.g. clay, lime),stairs,floors, exterior surfaces or moist areas.
Technical qualities
Quickly drying shellac coating. Glossy. Proven barrier effect (PCB, PCP, lindane, and DDT). Free of organic chemical compounds in accordance with DIN EN 71, part 9. Purely physical and fast drying. Ethanol is denatured only with shellac. Limited resistance to chemicals, water, abrasion, and scratches.
Application method
By brushing, rolling (with Moltopren foam roller) or spraying (max. 10% dilution with BASKO Thinner No. 715, note explosion protection!).
Coverage
Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application. 1 l undiluted (1.06 quart.) is sufficient for 8 to 11 m² (86 to 118 ft²) per coat, i.e. 105 ml/m². Effectiveness only with a minimum application quantity of 90 ml/m² (undiluted) per coat.
