As soon as you have the utensils together, you can start with the treatment. In the following, we have summarised the individual steps from the video using pictures and text. This way you don't always have to pause the video, but can read the individual steps separately.
Step-by-step instructions for the application of MELDOS Natural Resin Hard Oil No. 264 & 265
Before you start with the following steps, you should thoroughly sweep, mop and dry your terrazzo floor. A clean substrate is a MUST for this application to ensure a good result in the end.
Apply the natural resin hard oil evenly with a brush or paint roller. If the oil is absorbed immediately, you should apply more oil.
Allow the oil to soak in for 15 minutes, during which time you should spread the oil every now and then. If the oil is already absorbed, you can apply some more oil if necessary.
After 15 minutes, remove the oil that has not been absorbed with a cotton cloth. If necessary, repeat this process the next day and the day after until the stone slabs no longer absorb any oil.
Place the cotton cloth in a bowl of water or let it dry spread out to avoid possible spontaneous combustion of the vegetable oil.
