Application range
In the interior, as a pre-treatment on raw or untreated wood for finishing with LIVOS stains, waxes, lacquers. For exterior usage on absorbent tropical woods. Not to be used on cabinet interiors. Not suitable for veneers, floors and countertops.
Technical qualities
Good penetration capability. Reinforces and deepens the natural color of the wood grain, water resistant. Complies with German Industrial Norm DIN EN 71 part 3, certified as suitable for toys. Free of organic chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71 part 9.
DUBNO Penetrating Priming Oil No. 261 was rated as very good in the journal "Ökotest: construction, housing, renovation" edition 4/2002.
Application method
By painting, dippingor spraying (nozzle size 0.7 –1.0 mm, spraying pressure: 3 bar). Test application.
Coverage
Determine the exact coverage by doing a test coat!
1 liter (1.06 quart) is sufficient for approximately 15 m² (161ft²) per coat, i.e. 67ml/m². For spraying add max. 5 -10%, for dipping add max. 10 –20% of SVALOS Thinner No. 222 or SVALOS Spray Thinner No. 293.
The consumption could be considerably less, depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.
