Application range
Exterior: primer for absorbent, untreated softwoods before a LIVOS stain or
paint.
Especially for woods rich in sapwood: pine, spruce, larch and Douglas fir.
Their pale sapwood takes up water fastest and therefore needs the most
careful priming.
Not suitable for: hardwoods – prime oak with LINUS Penetrating Oak Priming
Oil No. 233, other hardwoods with DUBNO Priming Oil No. 261.
Technical qualities
Penetrates deep into the wood and saturates the absorbent sapwood in
particular.
Evens out the absorbency – the following coat therefore takes more evenly and
lasts longer.
Slightly honey-toned.
Fully declared – including the substances that need not be named.
Application method
Remove any skin that may have formed, stir well, apply a test area.
Apply generously by brushing, dipping or spraying (nozzle 0.7–1.0 mm, 3
bar).
Apply above 12 °C and in dry weather.

Coverage
