Application range
For interior untreated absorbent concrete, plaster and screeds.
Technical qualities
Good adhesion and high-yield. When completely dry semi matt, elastic, opaque, resistant to water, temperature resistance up to 70°C (158°F). Free from organic-chemical compounds in accordance with DIN EN 71, part 9.
Application method
If necessary, remove skin that might have formed on the product before use and stir well. Test application. Relative humidity: max. 65 % for 3 days before and after application. Otherwise there is a risk of delayed drying and reactions due to an excessively damp screed surface. Apply undiluted with a brush, foam or nylon roller (without velour) at temperatures above 8 °C. Apply 2 - 3 very thin coats, roll out well — the first coat should not be opaque. Dilute only for spraying with 10 % SVALOS Thinner No. 222 or SVALOS Thinner No. 292 (without orange oil). In the case of the color Country blue, rework with a dry brush after 10-15 minutes.
Coverage
1 liter covers 8 - 12 m² for the first coat (100 ml/m²) and 18 - 20 m² for the second coat (53 ml/m²), depending on the absorbency and surface condition of the substrate; it may be significantly more economical. Test application recommended.
