Application range

Thin-layer stain for solid wood in the interior, e.g. furniture, toys, and playground equipment.

Technical qualities

Water  repellent  and  permeable  to  moisture  (water  vapor). Color fastness when exposed to perspiration and saliva according to DIN 53 160. Suitable for toys according to DIN EN 71, part 3 (no migration of heavy metals). Contains  no  preventive blue-staining  fungi  protection. Free of organic -chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71, part 9. Free from plasticizers, nanoparticles and biocides.

Application method

By brushing (undiluted and thinly), spray application (diluted 5-10%) or dip application (diluted up to 20%) at temperatures above 12°C (54°F) and dry weather conditions.

Coverage

Determine the exact amount needed by doing a test application. 1 liter (1.06 quart) undiluted is sufficient for 15-30 m² (161-323 ft²), i.e. 44 ml/m² per coat. Consumption could be considerably less depending upon the condition and absorbency of the surface.
