The all-rounder: KUNOS Natural Floor Sealers N° 241 and N° 242

The universally applicable KUNOS Natural Floor Sealer N° 241 is suitable for both; large and small areas. It is applied with a single-disc machine, a sponge strip or a felt pad. A semi-gloss film is produced after three applications. The KUNOS Natural Floor Sealer N° 242 offers the same features, but it is particularly suitable for people with allergies as well as for people sensitive to odor and chemicals, because it contains odorless substances and no orange oil.

For large areas, for example floors, we recommend the oil N° 241. But if you prefere the Oil N° 242 for allergy sufferers an large areas, we recommend to process as quickly as possible in order to obtain an optimum result.

KUNOS oils for the perfect finish

The KUNOS Finishing Oil N° 240 is rich in resin and improves the water resistance of wooden surfaces that are little absorbent such as olive, cherry and elm wood. It is also suitable for areas that have been previously treated with the ARDVOS Universal Wood Oil N° 266 or the KUNOS Natural Oil Sealer N° 244. Please apply drop by drop and polish with a felt pad. The application leaves a silky, shiny surface. Furthermore, this oil is suitable for brushed wood because it hardens also in indentations and grooves. In this case use a stiff brush instead of felt pads.

The KUNOS Natural Oil Sealer N° 244 is not a sealer in the classical sense, but creates a sealed-looking surface if used regularly. This effect can be reached on wooden floors and furniture. For different levels of gloss, treat with BIVOS Oil Wax N° 376 or 375.

Countertop Oil: perfect for heavily used wood

The KUNOS Countertop Oil N° 243 increases the water resistance of worktops, window sills and tables made of heavy woods. However it is not suitable for floors. The application creates a silky gloss. Our professional tip: The wood is very well protected by the KUNOS oil, however, standing water should be avoided.

Application examples for KUNOS products

Kitchen furniture made of elm and bathroom cabinets made of cherry wood are examples of surfaces that are highly stressed and must withstand water. The KUNOS Oils N° 240, N° 242 and N° 243 can remedy this situation. For less stressed areas such as living room tables and cabinets, we recommend the KUNOS Natural Oil Sealer N° 244.

KUNOS solutions for the care and maintenance

The KUNOS Floor Maintenance Product N° 1862 preserves the degree of gloss and the water resistance of floors treated with the KUNOS Finishing Oil N° 240. The floor polish can be easily used in areas that are subjected to continuous stress: The renovation of a plank floor and a wooden staircase in a shop is possible within 12 hours thanks to the quickly drying film. The KUNOS Floor maintenance creates a uniform appearance and covers the transitions between walkways and stand area. The product can be processed easily, either by hand or by machine. An alternative is the BIVOS Oil Wax N° 376, which produces a semi-gloss protective film.
